Outdoor activities provide many great things to do with kids. Activities for kids that involve sunlight and fresh air, not to mention exercise and fun, have more benefits than we probably even know yet. But even when you don’t feel up to all that business, there are still a lot of good in just the sunlight alone.
When I’m feeling down and my mood is really low I don’t feel like playing or seeing anyone and definitely don’t want to run around and exercise but I can still improve my mood without these things.
Sometimes just relaxing outside in the sunshine can kick a case of the sads.
The vitamins and other benefits that we get from sunlight and fresh air combined with some quiet time alone and maybe a nap can work miracles in saving a bad day.
Take a time out just for you, maybe a stroll in the garden. Nothing to do be just ‘be’ and catch your own thoughts – this can help you work out why you are feeling sad when there’s no real reason that you can think of. Just take a time out – you deserve it!
