Connected Vs Connection

Things to do with kids that promote the feeling of belonging just have to be BIG winners in today’s world of self isolation.

Do you wonder sometimes if we are becoming too connected online and forgetting the real connection of feeling that we are part of the universe?

Curious how addicted you really are to the online world? What about your children?

Reconnecting with people and nature doesn’t have to be hard. It can be as simple as turning the devices off …

Yes! I really mean turn them right off! Don’t even glance at them.

… and talk to each other. Looking into the eyes of another human being for 60 seconds, no talking necessary. Taking a walk in nature or just stepping outside and sitting or even just sniffing the pages of a book can remind you of your connection with nature, your human connection and your connection to the universe as a whole.

I can go on and on with suggestions like sniffing a flower or the smell of the soil after rain, rain, feeling sand sift through your fingers, sunlight, a full breathe of fresh air, a long drink of water, the giving or receiving of love, affection or nurture to any living thing and it goes on and on …

What is your favorite way to recharge your connection?
