Things to do with kids include feeding them nutritious food stuffs and making sure that they are getting their dietary needs. Todays post is about neither of these things – unless I spin real hard about the benefits of cow’s milk.
I’ve mentioned hot chocolate before I’m sure but today I’m talking about hot choc when it isn’t hot. I’m not really sure what you call that! Cold Choc? But I’m talking about a cold milk drink with chocolate powder.

Here in Australia we like Milo as a hot chocolate, cold chocolate, dusted over ice cream, I could go on … I am using milo here but with cold milk and I, personally, don’t like to mix it in. I like to keep the Milo in dry clumps and I tend to lose interest in the drink once the dry Milo is all gone.
Actually, now that I think of it I’m probably talking about a milkshake. But with chocolate powder instead of chocolate sauce (syrup) and not stirred or mixed, and not drunk so much as eaten with a spoon. It’s weird I know but surely I’m not the only one that loves this for a ‘sometimes’ treat?

I do it too sometimes with Hershey’s chocolate powder. I love to chew the powder mixed with the cold milk or at times, cold water with or without crushed ice.. Makes me want to enjoy the treat a little longer than just gulp it down as a drink. It’s best to do it when you’re just spending time at home and not rushed to go to work or school.
