I’m snorkeling in today’s blog. I have blogged about snorkeling before, no doubt I will again, because I think it’s a great activity for kids, but today’s blog is not really about snorkeling.
Today’s blog is about a christmas present that I have only just had the chance to try out. “WHAT?” I hear you say. “But it’s February”. I know, I know! But I have only just come home and returned to study from the holidays and I’ve been all over the place blogging, I’ve even been out of the country (haha I went to Kangaroo Island not really overseas but over some water on a ferry lol). Long story short, I’ve been too busy.
The real reason I am snorkeling is to try out this christmas present and learn to use it. And I can tell you I am very happy with it.
So what is it?
… it’s an underwater camera which can take still images and video footage. This is my first underwater camera and it has opened up a whole new world of possible blog content for me so I’m excited.
We chopped a chunk off a Tuna that we had caught and left in the freezer for bait and put it in some plastic mesh and tied it to a fishing handline. We put it in the water in front of me and it didn’t take long for lots and lots of fish to come swimming past, whole schools of many different baby fish, as the water that I was filming in is used by fish as a nursery.
I haven’t shared any footage with you today because I’m still working it all out but expect to see much in the near future. You have been warned lol
