Tookii things to do with kids henna

Ihana Henna

This is my first henna and I am very happy with it I think this is one of those cool things to do with kids, probably girls mostly, where you can make it a mother / daughter bonding time and what you have in common, what you share, lingers long after the appointment as the henna slowly fades.

Henna is a form of body art done by dying the design onto the skin. It’s named after the plant that provides the dye that stains the skin.

The lady was amazingly quick at it and I wish now that I had videoed her doing it so I could show you.

I picked out a design and then sat down and she used a pen type thing to draw the henna resin onto my hand. When she was done she sprinkled glitter over the top. It looked awesome.

Not long after it was done I accidentally knocked some of the henna off but that’s ok – it’s all part of the journey. It’s all meant to come off eventually and leave you with just the stain on the skin, sort of like a tattoo except it washes off after a few weeks.

    1. Yes I have heard of the bride using it but I hadn’t heard of hair dye. It would stain your scalp too lol and probably anything else it comes in contact with in the bathroom, oh dear the towels!! :O
