This Old House

Exploring old houses and ruins are interesting things to do with kids. You probably know by now that I like to stop and have a look through ruins when we come across them along the road.

I like to wonder through and imagine who might have lived there.

I also like to look out of the windows, if there are any wall left, and look out at the view and imagine what it would have been like to live there years ago.

Some old houses still really have a vibe to them and you can just tell that it was a great place to live.

One thing about looking through old ruins, you never know what you might find.

  1. Tookii,Old houses do give character and a sense of history. Just be careful when you touch surfaces of old walls since your fingers may touch old paint chips .You might absentmindedly touch your mouth and therefore, the old paint chips might get accidentally swallowed by you. research studies show that kids ingesting old paint chips from old houses could develop a condition called lead encephalopathy. It will affect your brain functioning. Just make sure you wash your hands very well after every vintage house tour. At least, bring hand wipes or hand sanitizer.
