Things to do with kids choosing healthy snacks can be difficult but having fruit easily available and not having chips and lollies accessible can help.

Some days, when I get home from school, I feel tired and I just need a little time to revive before I get productive.

On these days I like to change into some fresh clothes, have a little sit down and have a healthy snack.

It’s amazing what a difference a few minutes rest and some good food can do. Some days I will even give my face a nice wash with a cool flannel, kind of feels like a fresh start.

But some days are so big and tiring that a power snack just won’t be enough and I just have to take a power nap – most days I have too much to do so these days are very rare.
