The Australian Dingo Fence

When it comes to things to do with kids this might not be the most exciting in that you may not feel a need to stop and take a look, but it’s good to know what it is when you see it, that way you can at least know when you are passing it. Some might see this as a photo op or some might just like to share what they know with the family on the way past.

Perhaps you have heard of The Big Australian Dog Fence? This is the longest fence in the world, and at 5,614 kilometres long, it’s actually one of the longest of all the world’s structures. It’s definitely a really big fence and for that it makes it to our list of big things.

In this video we are where the fence starts on the Nullarbor Plain end. Just a little way from where we are is the beach – that is where the fence begins. From there it stretches all the way up to the Darling Downs in Queensland.

What I am going to show you today is not so much about the fence but a handy tip for fellow travelers to the area. Look what we found there …

  1. Well, thank you for your follow, I am so touched. So honored. I have some fellow blogging friends in Australia. I hope one day to visit. So refreshing (your blog). Is that mommy filming? I will come back as soon as possible.
