Things to do with kids that mean time spent at the beach is A+ for me. You can get some great footage here too if you have a waterproof camera (preferably one that floats incase it comes off and better still if it’s fluro in colour or something).

A really fun way to get fit for kids (or with kids) is kayaking.

You can kayak separately – each with your own kayak or, you can get a dual kayak and row together in the same kayak. This is a good option for beginners as the kids have an adult with them and if the child gets tired they aren’t going to drift away.

This is a ‘good weather’ activity and of course it depends on how close you live to water such as a lake, river, creek or bay.

Such a great activity because you can relax, take it easy and enjoy the scenery or you can go hard for a while and increase your fitness.

    1. Yes, in Australia we call kayaks lures (fishing lures) hahaha

      No really there are certain places where I certainly wouldn’t get in the water but mostly it’s ok.
