Things to do with kids that add to the memories in the family album are never a waste of time. Stopping for a unique photo op is time well spent.
I have met a couple of farmers before but I have never seen anything like the farmer I came across in Wudinna, South Australia.
This farmer is 8 metres (26 ft) tall and weights 70 tonnes … oh, and he’s made of granite.
His head represents the sun, his body represents wheat and what appears to be his feet from a distance is actually sheep. He is called The Australian Farmer or The Big Farmer.
Another one of the Australian ‘BIGS‘ ticked off the list and a great place to stop for a family photo op. Take some time to look around. I haven’t shown you all there is to see, not by half. Walk around the statue, there’s more than meets the eye from the front and that’s all I’m going to say, you’ll just have to see it for yourself 😉
