Walking is one of the great things to do with kids that is getting forgotten. Time to reconnect with yourself, nature, each other. Time to slow down and relax.
I like to go for a walk up the jetty in the evening. It’s quiet and peaceful with the blue light after the sun goes down and the sound and smell of the water under my feet.
Sometimes it’s nice to stop and enjoy the view or go fishing and sometimes I’m lucky enough to see some visitors like dolphins or baby seals.
It’s nice to get outside and remind yourself that you are alive and part of a big awesome planet.
