Sleep overs are popular things with kids. Usually at a friends house but also (especially when you’re younger) with family.
I am very lucky. I have young parents, young grandparents and young great-grand parents and even a beautiful great-great grandmother. So when it comes to sleep overs – I am spoilt for choice.
This time I was having a sleep over at my Nannas (my mums mum).
Before we went to her house, she asked me what I would like to eat for tea. I chose Tuna Mornay and she was missing some ingredients for that so we went shopping to buy them.
That night Nanna cooked it for me with hard boiled eggs in it and served it in a bread bowl (a bread roll with the bread pulled out of the middle to make a bowl for the mornay to go in).
We had pink champagne (Pink Creaming Soda) in champagne saucers (glasses) at the bar and, we talked and laughed.
Then it was time for a shower, a little piano practice and bed.
I love sleep overs at Nannas. It’s free and I get a bit spoiled with lots of Nanna hugs XD
