As you can see, here I am cleaning!

This time I was cleaning because we were moving into a new house and, I was washing my floor ready to move my things into my bedroom. So this time was fun because I was excited about how my new room would be and, the new town and, the friends that I would make there.

Here I am mopping the floor, which is not hard and can be quite fun. All you need is a mop bucket of water with some disinfectant (for floor cleaning) in it and a mop.

If you haven’t washed a floor before and think that you might like to you could ask your mum if you can give it a try, don’t forget to wring the mop out – you don’t want too much water on the floor and, careful you don’t knock the bucket over.

  1. This is fantastic! My youngest (4 years old) is usually good to help out with the cleaning. But my 8 year old loathes it. On another note, the 4 year did try to mop the floor one day. The bucket dumped and there was a tidal wave down the hallway. We had a good laugh 🙂
